Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
The first being who committed sin was not human. Genesis 2:7 And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. Many are wont to think, but was an angel; These are created superior to human. Psalms 8:4-5 What is man, that thou art mindful of him? and the son of man, that thou visitest him? For thou hast made him a little lower than the angels, and hast crowned him with glory and honour. The name of that infamous angel was lucifer the morning star a beautiful being who was in charge of other angels and therefore, was called an archangel. Jude 1:9 Yet Michael the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of Moses, durst not bring against him a railing accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee. There are three archangel Michael, Gabriel and lucifer, called Satan, which means an adversary, the Devil. God did not create a creature called Devil or Satan. It is much like calling a man an “armed robber”, that is not his name, but his stock in trade, which society founds at variance with norms.
Sin, therefore, is an action of angels and human beings taking advantage of God’s love and the freewill given to man [free moral agent] it was this free will to think any thought and do anything he so will that lucifer in wanting to exalt his own throne be like the most high his creator. Isaiah 14:12-14: How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. This intentioned rebellion was with the cohesion of some angels who are today called demons. This intended rebellion never took place for God is omniscience and omnipotent so He knew. We should note it also that Satan was not like standing in the presence of God, not at all. There are bodies above the seat of the angels: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will exalt my throne above the stars of God So first sin ever committed was by an angel and it was a sin of evil ambition, a rebellion. Likewise, the first sin committed by man was the sin of disobedience. It is noteworthy that the angels did not receive instant judgment, but were sent out of heaven with their angelic power still intact, this power he now uses together with demons to deceive the world,Revelation 20:3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season. but man received instant judgment, for God has already forewarned man in the book of Genesis 2:16-17 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat: But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die. Sin brings about death. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord. God made provision for us to escape the second death, which is an eternal death; a subject that would appear here sooner than later here.
WHAT IS FAULT? A fault differs from a transgression. Galatians 6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. Apostle Paul was not somebody to shy away from the subject of sin. A fault, he calls a spade a spade and not a garden fork. What paul also reveals here is that our spiritual maturity does not mean we are above temptation too. And as long as we are not perfect beings, we are susceptible to faults just like we are to temptations. Any action or behaviour that lower the bar of an excellent character or life. Action that leaves a stain on virtues, a character flaw. We find another example in the book of 1 Corinthians 6:7, Now therefore there is utterly a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather take wrong? Why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? Apostle paul once admonished the church not to lie to one another. He did not call doing so a sin, but it is a trait mostly associated with the old sinful nature. Faults are action we can easily put away from our lives through determination and decision. If I’m used to coming late to church service, that is no sin, but a fault. If I’m not diligent in my duty, that is not a sin, but a fault. Ephesians 4:31, Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: These are character flaws not sin per se.
MISTAKE:
This word does not appear in the bible, not in King James Version. I want to define it as a preconceive intention that tums out the opposite intent. Some mistakes are fatal which could lead to death yet, we do not define this as sin.
I pray the Lord will expand these few words in your heart.
See you in church.
