‘before i formed thee in the belly i knew thee and before thou came out of the womb, I sanctified thee and ordained thee a prophet unto the nations’. the bible book of Jeremiah 1:5.
Matthew 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? For we have seen his star in the east and are come to worship him. It is possible for many to see your greatness before you even realised you are destined for greatness. Many can see these things while you are still trying to find your path that takes you to fulfillment. The psalmist cried out to God, saying in Psalms 142:6 Attend unto my cry; for I am brought very low: deliver me from my persecutors; for they are stronger than I.
Good morning this morning, or whatever time it is you are reading this blog.
Straight to the subject; let us start with the latter biblical statement. Here, God, almighty, omnipotent and omniscient talking to you through his servant. What is God saying to you? Can you decipher it?, do you understand it? First, it means man exists in eternity’s past. Therefore, we can deduce that no man is born without God’s awareness. No one is here by accident, whether born in wedlock or out of wedlock.Matthew 10:30 But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. It means you are important to God and God loves you, undermining your social strata or economic statue. And He knows every minute details about you. It also means every man must have a purpose to fulfill while he is here on this planet. Man not knowing this love from God that puts many in confusion and a lot of questions about life. Many go looking for places where they can not find answers. They are like the biblical prodigal son who thought that his fulfillment was outside of his father’s influence, but only to find out that without his father, he was lost and far away from his purpose. They are like king Saul, who, out of desperation, sought answers from a wrong source. We find our fulfillment in God, not outside of God. Once you are born, whether in a pit or palace, there is a purpose for you in life and there is a reason for your existing i this vast system. Often on the journey of life, we encounter mountains and borders, but we can always go to God for help. Psalms 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.
Again, we come in contact with the word ‘ORDINATION’. There is a different between ordination and destiny. Ordination carries with it a divine power to fulfill whatever task you have been called to do while on earth and no man can stop it or interfere with it. It also can not be changed by circumstance or political or economic situation. An example is the birth of our lord and savior, Jesus Christ. He was ordained and there was nothing the Devil, the chief adversary, could do about it. Right from the birth, the host of hell carried out a popular pursuit to stop it, but they failed all the way, even to the cross. Brother, when you are ordained for a mission, no Jupiter has the power to stop it from becoming a reality.
All are predestined for one purpose or the other. Finding the purpose brings about a fulfilled life . It behooves every man woman to finding the part that leads to their destiny. To every one that is born there is a mission, but it rests on you playing your part. Hence, if you deviate, or those who can see this wonderful destiny to influence you, you will never realize it. The magi said of the baby Jesus, in the book of Matthew 2:2 Saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
A good deal of people may see your star, too, but they will not come to worship, but to kill that destiny or steal it. That is why we say destiny can be changed or altered if are not careful to bring it to pass.
First step is to know your gifting. Where do you normally gravitate? what do you love doing for the enjoyment of it? What gives you joy as you do it? Where lies your passion? These are salient questions. What you are specially gifted or cut out for. It is more than copying or imitating another person. Actually, when you copy another person, you can never excel, for how many men know more than their teachers? If you want to know more than your teacher, then you should be taught by another person who knows more than your teacher. Rely on the power of the Holy Ghost who is the greatest teacher and HE will make you special in your own way [John14:26]. the rules to excel is to be all you can be and strife to do more.
Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. Inside, every man lies within that which is deposited for his greatness, but it has to get the necessary push or activation. That is what the book of Job32:8 is telling every man born alive! Let your inspiration come through desire to know; and pursue that desire in prayers and meditation. For the way of prosperity in our calling and gifting is through meditation. See the book of joshua1:8.
Meditation will bring about revelation. The spirit that has lain inactive will get the inspiration.
Secondly, get the training. Do not give me that talk that training or apprenticeship is not needed. Elijah got his from Elisha,the disciples got theirs from Jesus, our lord, Moses got his from God in the wilderness, Apostle Paul got his after three years of study in Arabia [Galatians1:16-18]
Let God show you forth. Do not be in a hurry to be known. Do not engage in marketing yourself. Do not pretend to be there, on top, when you are have not even started. Your gift will introduce you [proverbs18:16] if others are running and jumping from pillar to post, dare to be different. Soon the fakes and copy cats will run out of steam, but those who wait on the lord shall always renew their strength [Isaih40:31]
Know the difference between ambition and a vision. The former has a destination, but the latter is ever expanding. Even after your demise, another person will run with it.
